Because life never lets up, the littler of my human children was out sick from school today. This is just a guess, but maybe it has to do with the fact that HE LICKED THE RAILING OF THE ARENA AT THE RODEO. And not just a little tongue touch, either; he attached himself to that railing like one of those sucker fishes that cleans the fish tank before I was able to pry him off.
So, I was stuck at home today and probably will be again tomorrow. Around lunchtime, my husband came in to give me a reprieve and got the kiddo down for a bit while I went out to check the goats to spend five minutes sitting on a stump in the pasture, recharging my batteries.
It’s Wednesday, and we made it through! It was all worth it when I held up a Kleenex to the baby’s nose for the 439th time and told him to blow, and he said, “I love you, Mom. I’m going to throw up.”
So I figured you would enjoy a few celebratory shots of the goats in the snow. If you can’t recharge the same way I can, at least I can send you some cute goat pictures.
Wednesday’s almost over. You made it. Good for you.
My favorite email to find in my inbox! Here’s to being halfway through the week. Something is up because things are off kilter at my house, too.
They're ADORABLE!!!!
